VLAD The V Games Book 1
MY STAR RATING
The Vasiliev name is a powerful one.
We rule with an iron fist and we do it well.
Being the eldest, I am Father’s best hope at keeping us at the top of the food chain.
Everything I do has purpose.
Everything I do has reason.
I play my games thinking several moves ahead.
Power. Power. Power.
The next move requires I marry and soon.
This will strengthen us and secure our position.
But I am not to marry her.
I am to wed the eldest Volkov.
Problem is, her younger sister is the one who awakens my dead heart.
It is her I want in my bed and by my side forever.
Her. Her. Her.
In this game, though, it’s not about what I want.
But maybe it can be about what she wants.
I am Vlad.
Vile. Vicious. Villainous. Vasiliev.
And I will win eventually.
VLAD The V Games Book 1
When I first started reading this book I was in a foul mood. Just generally being an asshole really. I get that way sometimes when I’m bored and restless.
After around…hmm…seven pages or so, I was cured.
This book sucked me in right from the start, rotten mood and all.
It had a deliciously dark and violent beginning and you can see the family tensions right away.
I loved all the characters. All. Of. Them
I mean some were bitches and some were bastards but all were so well written that I felt like I knew them already.
- VLAD – Dark and freakin’ deadly. Sexy and stylish. This man is another alpha to the fucking core and he has his shit held together tight…unless Irina is around. She makes him want things he knows he shouldn’t have.
So Vlad is meant to marry Diana but when she moves into his family home after the engagement is announced she brings her sister. Vlad thought that he was strong enough to resist the alure but it’s proving more difficult than he thought.
He’s always had a thing for Irina, ever since they were kids. He never let it show though because feelings are a sign of weakness and in his world, you can have no weaknesses.
His family are messed up yo! Extremely powerful, extremely rich and extremely dangerous. Just the way we dream of our mafia men, right?
- IRINA – Irina and her sister are smart and brave. They’ve had to grow up in a world where women are little more than baby-making machines and used as bargaining chips by being married off into other “Families”.
Their father wanted sons but instead had two daughters and so he trained them well in the ways of their business.
Both girls have always wanted to fight to be seen for who they are and what they are capable of, not just as “the wives”.
When Diana agrees to marry Vlad, Irina is gutted and not just because she wants Diana to marry someone she truly loves, but because she has always been attracted to him and no one else.
Her whole world is turned upside down as her attraction to him grows darker and deeper.
I’m just a girl, a Volkov girl, who will do what she’s told and live like a bird with an injured wing, wanting so badly to fly away and make her own path, but stuck flightless.
SEX SCENES – The sex was so freakin’ hot! There’s some breath play here and there and some heady sexual tension that you could cut with a knife!
I love it when a man like Vlad loses control to a wee wisp of a girl. And, yes, I’ll be honest, I love a virgin heroine.
I want her in every possible way. Ass. Mouth. Everything. Mine. I slide out of her and relish her whine. Leaning forward, I lick up her ass crease, plundering the tight little hole with my tongue. Her body hums and vibrates as pleasure washes through her. I taste her until she’s quivering, just on the edge of bliss.
I want to force her to hold the railings with both hands and bend over so I can smack her tight ass until it burns crimson under my palm. Then I’d use my tie around her neck as a harness while I entered her raw and hard. She’d want to scream out in pleasure, but my hands tightening the fabric would restrict her.
FINAL THOUGHTS on VLAD The V Games Book 1 –
I loved this book and have already started reading the next in the series. The one thing I will say though is, you will need the list of family names at the beginning of the book because, hot damn!, there’s a lot of V’s!
First names and last names all starting with V. Okay, not all of them but a lot.
Also, I still am not entirely sure what The V Games actually are…
